“The globalization of modern commerce ensures that managers in firms everywhere will have to attend actively to relationships of business,
government and society.”
~James Post

I have worked with some of the largest companies in the nation as well as smaller organizations and individuals. I have provided counsel to private sector companies, trade associations, law firms, accounting firms, public sector entities, elected officials, financial and insurance institutions and non-profit organizations.

My clients have included: 7-Eleven, Altria, McDonald’s, Texas Mutual Insurance Company, The Hotel Association of North Texas — as well as others such as Frito-Lay, the New Car Dealers of Dallas County, the Hudson Group, AutoZone, and Bank of America.

I have also worked with other public affairs/public relations firms in support of their client programs as well as with orgranizations such as the Business Roundtable, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on their initiatives in Texas.

In addition to my public affairs consulting practice, I serve as the executive director of the Dallas Breakfast Group, a Dallas based public affairs group of high level business executives.

On the civic side, I have been active in many local and state organizations including:

    • The U.S. Defense Department’s Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Texas committee. This organization works with employers on issues related to the Guard and Reserves. I serve as their statewide public affairs chair.
    • The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality Dallas Small Business Advisory Committee. I have co-chaired this important advisory committee for the TCEQ for many years.
    • The Texas Association of Business. In addition to being a past chair of the TAB’s Dallas Chapter, I recently completed my second term on the state Board of Directors and its executive committee.
    • The City of Dallas. Two years ago, I was appointed one of four co-chairs by the Mayor of Dallas to head up the city’s 2010 US Census effort. The previous year, I received another Mayoral appointment to chair a Southern Dallas Task Force area committee. This Task Force was established to drive more economic development to the southern sector of Dallas. I am also a past chair of the Dallas Chamber of Commerce’s local affairs committee.
