Get ready for a confusing election season. Due to the mess caused by redistricting on state elections, the March primary will now be held in late May. That means voters will go to the polls twice in May. Once for local city council and school board elections on Saturday, May 12; again for state races and the presidential primary on Tuesday, May 29.

Voters though,probably will have a hard time distinguishing between the two as candidates in both elections should soon have their yard signs and billboards up.

The state primary, by the way, is the day after the Memorial Day holiday.
